Terms of service

These terms govern use of MaksIT.IdentityHub, trusted middleware operated by MaksIT from Italy, in the European Union, for MaksIT HTTPS products. By starting a sign-in or mailbox consent through this service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy statement on this site.

What the service does

Identity Hub sends you to Google or Microsoft to authenticate under Hub branding, then issues a Hub JWT to the product that started the login on a maks-it.com host. Identity Hub is not a public OAuth platform for third-party developers, a general-purpose mailbox, or a social network.

Covered applications

Only the applications listed above are covered by these terms. Any other application is not covered — do not continue, and revoke consent at Google or Microsoft. Desktop sign-in must happen in the browser on this Hub origin. If the application UI does not match this domain and branding, treat that as a warning and stop.

Your account

You must have the right to use the Google or Microsoft account you present. You must not intercept tokens, bypass consent, abuse rate limits, or use the service as a mailbox gateway for another person's data.

Authentication logging

For security, fraud prevention, and incident investigation (MaksIT's legitimate interests under GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), Identity Hub logs the account you use to authenticate (email and identity-provider subject), together with time, provider, outcome, destination host, client IP, and user agent. Access, refresh, and ID tokens are not stored in those records. Details, retention, and your rights are in the Privacy statement.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is. MaksIT does not warrant uninterrupted access and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the hub, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer protections in the EEA still apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy and applicable EU law. If you are a consumer in the EEA, mandatory local consumer protections still apply. Connecting from outside the EEA does not change that Identity Hub processes Hub-held data in Italy under GDPR.

Changes

These terms may be updated on this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
